This Privacy Policy explains how Vocal Toner handles information when you use the app. Vocal Toner is a vocal toning, harmonic feedback, interval training, and relative pitch practice app for iPhone and iPad.
Vocal Toner does not collect, sell, track, or transmit personal information. The app is designed to process microphone audio on your device for live pitch, harmonic, overtone, oscilloscope, and interval-training feedback.
Vocal Toner asks for microphone permission so it can listen to your voice or instrument during practice. Microphone audio is analysed on device to estimate pitch, fundamental frequency, harmonic content, overtone levels, and interval accuracy.
Live microphone audio is not sent to the developer or to any third-party server.
Vocal Toner includes optional recording and clip-analysis tools. If you record a clip, the recording is used locally in the app so you can play it back, pause it, inspect it, or export it as a WAV file.
Audio clips are shared or saved only when you choose to use the iOS share/save controls. When you share a clip, the destination is controlled by the iOS share sheet and by the app or service you choose.
If you load a previously saved WAV file, Vocal Toner uses that file locally for analysis and playback. Imported clips are not uploaded by Vocal Toner.
Vocal Toner may save app preferences on your device, such as dark mode, input calibration, audio route preference, sample voice choice, interval difficulty, note hold duration, and selected scale or mode. These settings are stored locally using iOS app storage.
Vocal Toner does not require an account. The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
Vocal Toner does not collect personal data from users. Audio analysis and practice feedback are performed on device. The developer does not receive your microphone audio, recordings, practice history, or app settings.
Vocal Toner does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. The app does not include public social features, user accounts, or behavioural advertising.
Vocal Toner does not send app data to third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud services. If you choose to share an exported audio file, that action is handled by iOS and the destination you select.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Vocal Toner changes how it handles data. Any updates should be posted on the same page as this policy with a new effective date.
